Overslept, missed work,
Going to be late today,
Might read the bible,
Spend some time with family.

Ignore the message,
The real animals are inside,
Wolverine like rage,
Brain far beyond my years.

"Responsible for his own actions"
"He was peaceful and kept to himself"

There is no innocence in silence.

I've read this over at least ten or fifteen times now and I don;t know what to think of it. Do you think you could PM me and elaborate?

A seems a bit too personally for an in-depth look.

You did intrigue me though.

Now that it's been a little explained:

I'm not sure if you want to do this or not, but it may be easier for the reader if there was a stronger allusion to the event. The title is pretty blunt for those who know about it, but for those who don't it's just unrelateable.

That being said, now that I know what it's about, the poem is an intriguing read. The nonchalant mood of the first stanza is absolutely eery and makes me very uncomfortable. "The real animals are inside" is clever when understood.

I know this is on the spot, so.. just try to elaborate more. Without a strong knowledge on the situation, this is just an interesting little read.
