Umm ive seen this type of chord a few times and i was wondering what it is.
Its a power chord except the octave is a half step lower.
Explain plz!

I assume you mean something like this...

C5add7 I'm just making this name up but it seems to me to most accurately describe what is happening, not just harmonically but with a mind to the right voicing too.

Where does the "maj6" come from? A C is a fourth above G and the B is a third above G so maj6 is confusing me. G(no5)/C maybe?

minor7 is also out of the question since a minor 7 is a minor triad with a b7 and we have a major 7.

Wow! I was thinking as I posted and I realized that was totally off. I was trying to think of the B as 2 different things. I'm gonna stop posting high now.
