yeah it was great!! just can't believe I never heard of the stuff before (even though am a guitar player, I've jammed with many bass players over the years)

I heard that some of the pedals work well for guitar, is that true??

EBS is a Swedish company that has more clout in Europe than Stateside, and they're very top-shelf stuff. They have endorsers like Tony Levin and Marcus Miller (and Tal Wilkenfeld), so the reason you haven't heard of them is because you haven't looked very hard.

I saw an EBS interview on BassPlayer.tv (before they went broke and stopped updating it) and the EBS representative was the sweetest man I've ever seen. He made me go 'awww!' and made me want to sell all my gear to buy EBS stuff. He melted my heart.

Imagine that. He melted thefitz's heart. Didn't even know I had one, did you?

I was looking at a used Warwick Vampyre LTD 5'er for about $200. I went home to grab my wallet and came back and some jerk with an epic beard got it already..
