This. If that's too short of a time length make it longer then go to www.beamitupscotty.com and upload it there. It will convert it into a smaller file size. Then it'll send you a txt with a link to the file it converted for you. Copy that link into your internet browser. Download the file then send it to your phone through your email address.

If your wondering how to do that it's (yourphonenumberhere)@(service provider)

Your service provider would be for cingular/at&t it's @mms.att.net or for Verizon it's @vtext.com

Idk any others.

Did I help or confuse you? It's how I do it.

Most phones have a 20 sec limit.
and if you use verizon you can register at www.vzwpix.com

After that, email the mp3 to (phone#)@vzwpix.com

I love my necrophagist ringtone

EDIT: And anything longer shouldn't need compressed. Besides, if you go through that it probably takes the sound quality to nil no? a 30 sec or so mp3 shouldn't be over whatever limit anyways.

Just put the mp3 on your phone.

Not everyone bought the usb cable, so I figured I'd provide alternate solutions
