could you plz a lil give more information?

I don't know much about it, only ever seen one. Good guitar though, perfect for metal. 500 is a great deal for it.

if its the hb105 pickups, there not very good, kind of like cheap invaders, which arent that good in the first place. but the guitar is worth 500 for sure. it will be fine at first, but will be worth a change later on if you dont like em.

mm so that guitar + emg 81 85 for example is worth the money and better than just buying a jackson DKMG for example?

n ye i'll probly replace the pickup a half year / year later...
#12
Buy the guitar. You should find you can get heavy enough sounds out of it. If not, get a pedal, not replacement pickups. It will make more of a difference to the sound and you'll be able to use it for any other guitars you have as well.

well i have a Electro Harmonix Metal Muff
so its ok..
but how's the floyd? it doesnt suck? coz i heard some stuff bout licensed floyds
#14
schecter licensed floyds aren't bad, neither are jacksons. its the dean ones that are crap imo. And it's not that you won't get heavy enough sounds, those pickups are high output, its that you may not like the tone your getting.

its thinner than a les paul for sure. Schecters are kind of in between a les paul and a jackson or ibanez neck. i think there just right, but some people say there thick.

I'd say the neck is between a les paul and a strat, but closer to a strat.

And I looked for like 10 minutes on Schecter's site for a "Revenger". I didn't know you were talking about the Avenger.

hes talking about the revenger. its not made anymore, its a special order.

mmm btw guys another 2 questions
mmm since its active pickups it needs its battery replaced every once in a while? if ye...
every how much time?
and another question , lets say i wanna replace the pickups with EMG 81 85 after a while
it fits ? or i have to dig in the wood or something?
thank you.
#24
At the most you may have to carve out something to put the battery holder in.

Depending on how much you play, a battery could last you a few months with active pickups, maybe more i'm not sure.
