Hi! I'm learning some chords, and I want some that would be fun to play. So I'm thinking sort of "cliche" chords would be fun to mess around with. You know, chords that are often used in one type of music. E for example, if you play the chord on the first fret, then second, and then fourth, you'll have that typical "mexican" sound, I don't know what to call it. I hope you know what I mean. Then there's am, and if you play it in the same kind of rythm as Dog Fashion Disco's "Desert Grave" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGeRbOKsdWY) and add the
low E: 0 then 3 then open a, you get that typical "cowboy" sounds. I really don't know any better way to explain it, sorry.

I hope someone understands what the heck I'm trying to say here, and can help me out.

I kinda get it... there is a pretty basic open chord/power chord progression involving A, E, an D... really easy and overused but it sounds good.
