Is that a ukulele in your pants, or did you just rip ass to the tune of "Aloha Oi"?

I think a great intro would just be the theme to 'Requiem for a Dream'

Such a great piece. But that isn't really a 'band' song.

Some others would be, if you are a Poison fan, 'Talk Dirty To Me' would be good. Has been getting popularity from 'Scrubs' and 'Guitar Hero III'

If you are more interested in Heavy Metal -> Dethklok is a must. I think most would agree.

Besides those, classics like Crazy Train, Iron Man, Eruption , Ain't talkin' 'bout love, Feelin' (Catching the pattern yet?), and so on an so forth.

Good luck

Audioslave's Shadow on the Sun was in Collateral.

This may be cheating, but how about the Across the Universe or I Am Sam soundtracks?

Hammer Smashed Face by Cannibal Corpse.

Appeared in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective by request of Mr. Carrey himself.

When I found out they were his favourite band, I lol'd so hard.

You could play Fear Factory or Mudvayne. Does it have to actually appear in the film or just on the soundtrack?

No. Everybody dies. And one day, given that your relationship doesn't crash and burn like so many do, one of you will end up deep in sorrow while watching the other one die.
