i suppose there's a chance
i'm just a litte too shallow to consider
that maybe i've been a little more eager
each day to wake up and take a shower

Travis. Namely in songs like Sing, Flowers in the Window, and some off the new album (Ode to J. Smith) I think.

Fair to Midland.

Not only is Darroh Sudderth one of the greatest vocal talents you'll ever hear, but he plays a mean banjo, as well.

I recently had a dream that my dad died and my mum spent the life insurance payout on a new Indian dad, who told me to convert to Judaism, even though people usually change religion in September.

There's banjo on one Wilco song, at least. Not important, though.

The Pogues and Old Crow Medicine Show both use a lot of banjo

jonny greenwood of radiohead is a banjo-ist (?) but thom yorke won't let him put it in any songs

What a douche.

Railroad Earth hasn't been mentioned. They are fabulous. Also The Punch Brothers, Nickel Creek in some songs. I'm trying not to list bluegrass bands, there's a thread in the other forum for that (if you want any of that go to that thread it is lonely).
