Hi There.
I was recently considering purchasing an American Standard Telecaster, now im quite sure that they're made in America, but i've heard conflicting reports from others saying they're only called American Standards but not actually made in America

Can anyone please clarify?

PS - If they are built in America, where abouts? Nashville?! (or is that Gibson)

American Standard is made in USA. Otherwise it'd be called Telecaster only. Used to be made in Fullerton California but not sure anymore.

'American' Standards are called such for a reason, they're made in the US. If you get a Fender Standard, they're most likely made in Mexico.

American Standards are amazing, by the way. I wish I could afford a new one.
