hey i am looking for a good cheap valve amp to play metal on, the guitar will either be a Jackson RR24 or an LTD DJ-600 and possibally through a metal muff depending on what sounds good

i have been lookiing at valvekings, and bugeras but 120 watts seems a bit much power.

swap your amp + guitar budgets. or else save up more for the amp.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

mmm a Bugera 626x series or 333 is excellent. Toss in a decent OD and you can get a TIGHT metal tone.

The 120 watts is good for giving all the headroom needed for tight metal tone

Also the Randall RG50TC
