Choose wisely!

I ripped this straight from Radio 4

Imagine you are on a desert island (much like Tom Hanks), you can pick up to 8 albums to take with you.

They never explained how you could listen to these on the show, but I reckon there is a hi-fi that runs on air.

Unfortunately, you are already armed with a Bible, but to make your stay bearable you have been lumbered with the complete works of Shakespeare.

You can pick an inanimate luxury item if you want. But remember you won't need toilet paper, you've already got the Bible.

I'd like to hear your choices Remember, 8 or less albums.

I've always wondered the point of giving them the Bible, but now at last it has a use!

And I would read the Shakespeare to tatters...

1. If I Could Do It All Again by Caravan. Hippy Psych Prog Rock at its best.

2. Continuum by John Mayer. Feel-good and deeply meaningful in equal measure.

3. Dark Side of the Moon. How could I live without this masterpiece?

4. Exclusively For My Friends Vol 3. by Oscar Peterson. Jazz genius, could just mellow out under a palm tree with this and my thoughts...

5. So Far by CSNY. Close harmony and politics. A heady mix.

6. King of Blue by Miles Davis. Yet more jazz...

7.RATM by RATM. Faux-anarchist rock, still damn good.

8. Echoes by Pink Floyd. Oh alright, one more Floyd album.

Luxury - I suppose my guitar would be a huge cliché... An unlimited supply of paper and ink, so I can record my thoughts. At least then I could burn the paper if I was cold.
