I need to know the most scary/disturbing movie the pit members have ever seen. Classics don't count cause lets face it, we all grew up in a technological age and have seen the worst possible things imaginable on the internet. The Shining, Halloween, or The Exorcist just don't cut it anymore.

For me it is Silent Hill, it wasn't scary, just plain disturbing.

I want to be scared.

Go.

If you think Silent Hill was bad then you've still got a looong way to go.

The only film that ever scared me was 'Creep'

depends on what you mean by scary, the classics are plenty scary if you have some imagination and willing suspension of disbelief.

Cube isn't scary at all, the first one is bad ass though. The second one is ok.. and the third one which is "Hyper cube" or something just sucked.

I find Halloween to be much scarier than any new horror film.

yeah, too many people nowadays just want to see a bunch of gore or whatever, that's not really scary, suspension of disbelief is what makes these things scary and too many people nowadays forget that.

wasn't really scary like, SUPRISEE.
just like 'wow. that could happen to me'

Although everyone I've talked to hated this movie, I thought it was one of the better horror movies of the last few years.

The only movie that's ever really scared me since my balls dropped was The Ring.

My favorite is Halloween.

I know. But even though I knew that it was a movie, I was scared shittless of waking up in the Cube. I had troubles sleeping for like a year after watching that movie.

Yeah, second one didn't do it for me. I saw the first when it came out, maybe I was 13 or 14? Either way, it scared me.

I found The Ring so boring. There was a scary moment in the beginning and another at the end. Plus, if they don't make you like the protagonist, you don't care if they die. I didn't really like that lady at all.

Halloween is the ultimate horror. It's paced well, the build up is perfect. The closer it gets to Halloween, the closer Michael gets to Laurie and the closer Dr. Loomis gets to Michael. The story is original, simple and the characters are great.

I did that with a movie when I was a kid. I forget the name of it but they had these little goblin things in the movie and at the end a guy is taking a shit and one comes out the toilet and bites his wang off or something.

I was scared to shit for a long time after that.

I read a synopsis. There's just one girl with that in the movie and for some reason, everyone tries to rape her. Sounds like a shitty movie.
