I have a crate fxt-120 amp i recently purchased used from guitar center. The amp works fine on both the distortion and clean channels but when pressure is applied to the top through either sitting on it or having any substantial weight on it, it makes a sort of gunshot noise. It kind of sounds like a spring snapping out of place or something.I know knothing about the inner workings of an amp so any ideas would be appreciated.

I don't know what it is, but how about just not putting any weight on it?
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not
I dont know anything about that amp, but if it has a reverb tank, I think you just totally f'ed it up
This reminds me of that guy who was wondering if his MG was broken after beating it in order to make "cool noises"

ISP Pro Rack G Noise Suppressor
BKP Warpig pickups
after the first time no weight has gone back on it, i just wanted to know in case there was something that would kill my amp completely from whatever is wrong with it.
