So.
Ive only changed 1 set of guitar strings.
that was on my bc rich years ago when i was never serious about playing.
i got some new strings for my ibanez (rg120)
but it seems to be much different then my bc rich.

I'm lost, I can't figure out how to even take them off, if i can't do that, i doubt I can put them back on lol, and I don't wanna be guitarless until I can get a friend to come over and help..so
i figured i'd refer to here..
any help?

Loosen the strings and cut them in half with some wire cutters, remove the plastic plate on the back of the guitar and take the strings out, and feed new ones in.

I prefer barbed wire strings. I find I can get the most br00t41 tonez with it.

You can thread them through the hole in the back of body of the guitar. You don't need to pull off the plastic cover. Just thread them up and through, and then tie them off on the tuners.

It just looks like this.

And, I can just put them through the back of the screw things? and then just take them up to the tuners like normal?

(sorry for my lack of knowledge. gotta learn somewhere though :P)

Pretty much, play, keep tuning them up.

by tomorrow, they should be good, if you try to play and tune and it goes out again, tune 2 more times, if it STILL goes out. you might have a problem.

i just noticed my bridge is titled up as if i had a 'whammy bar/floyd rose' (which i dont but theres a spot for it)

is this a potential problem?

idk much about ibanez, but that looks like a floyd rose licensed tailpeice.

If you're totally lost, a music store will teach you how to do it.
