I have a Vox AC15CC amp and it stopped working. I plug it in and flip the switch, but nothing. No led light, no sound, nothing. I even tried another power cable and different outlets, but it still doesn't work. Do I need to change the tubes or could it be something else? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced!
blown circuit board or something? im taking a super WILD guess here because the electricity should be able to get to the amp.
do you have a licensed vox repair shop anywhere around?
The closest one is about an hour away and I do not have a car right now. I will probably be able to bring the amp in a couple of weeks, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas so I was not ampless for a couple of weeks.
if its getting nothing, its got to be a bad main-line wiring issue, or the fuse. if you know how to work with the fuse, and recognize if it is bad or not, then go ahead and check it. if it isnt the fuse, i wouldnt try turning it on anymore until you can get it to the shop, just for the safety of the internal parts of the amp.
