hello members of the bass sub forum!!

i need help. i have a friend who has a bass, and she's looking to change her strings. she hasn't changed them for a year, and on top of that, she has no idea what string gauge is on her bass, or what is considered thick and what is considered thin.

the question i would like to ask is..

what is considered a thick gauge and what is considered a thin gauge for bass strings?

45s are standard, and are most likely what is on her bass at the moment. If she finds them too big, maybe try 40s or even 35s

I think you need to stop caring what people think about it. I stayed home all day today and masturbated like 5 times. Fucking blast.
