Hi I just bought a Vox V847-A Wah Wah Pedal, I plugged it in and it works, however when I plug it into the amp the amp makes a buzzing sound, I also plugged into my friend's amp and the same thing happened, both amps were 25W.
the only thing can imagine is that: the pedal coes without the battery however I found an old ac adaptor so plugged it into the pedal, could this be the problem? is the buzzing normal? If not what could it be?

almost def the ac adapter, try batteries...i used the wrong ac adapter once and did the same thing

cables used to connect to the amp, or your power adapter, like said.

okay that's a relief, but the buzz is coming from the amp, the ac is old and not in good condition so I'm going to buy a battery

oh, I put in a 9v battery like it said in the instructions, the buzzing is gone but when I push the pedal (forward) theres a noise like wind, it goes shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, is this normal?
