Is it possible to tune yourself to hear notes before they are played? There are times when I am playing with my band that I "hear" the next several chords as they will sound in the next section of a song (verse to bridge). It is fascinating to think what people may actually hear, as opposed to what others may be hearing (I imagine that a guitarist like Micheal Hedges heard music in a very different way than most people do). Any thoughts?

i think its bacause you KNOW what chords are coming, so you got an idea of how its supposed to sound... or something like that ^^

Uhh... that's just knowing the song, is it not? Or do you mean being able to predict what chords are next even though you don't know the song? Many songs are predictable because in the same key, there are only so many possibilities that make logical sense in western music.
