I wrote this song because a few months ago, some of my other friends were complaining about being sad and such. I know its mean, but I just kept thinking, "You’re sad, I get, just cheer up and be happy again.”, (Hence the title). After a while, I felt guilty about it, and I figured "Well, I get that way too, so I know where your coming from and yeah, it does suck." So I wrote this song thinking it's an interesting topic for a song, and I think it's pretty good. Maybe re-write the first verse, but other than that, it’s a keeper. Hehe. The music I'll be working out in the next few days. The lyrics are sung as a gentle, up-lifting, smooth jazz style. Hope you like it. Here's, "Be Happy Again".

INTRO

Verse 1:
It pains me to see y’all so blue,
Let me share my happiness with you.
Come here and sit and chat awhile.
No matter how far away you’ve strayed,
We’ll turn this around together on life’s long mile.

Chorus:
Be happy again, let the people know it.
Hide away your pain, just save it for another day.
Go out on a date, leave it all to fate… and chance.
Out the window goes circumstance.
Turn it around, bring it down, and fly away…

Verse 2:
Fill not your hearts with gloom,
For even happiness keeps a room.
It’s my friends whom I most adore.
Simple wishes I have for them,
For them to be glad and nothing more.

Chorus:
Be happy again, let the people know it.
Hide away your pain, just save it for another day.
Go out on a date, leave it all to fate… and chance.
Out the window goes circumstance.
Turn it around, bring it down, and fly away…

Verse 3:
To overcome any obstacle life deals you,
Just go and buy whatever appeals to you.
Heartache doesn’t last for long, thankfully.
Just trust in your friends and then they’ll
Lend a hand because only they love you truly.
