hai. I have a biology project coming up where I am to build a DNA molecule, one of these guys:
I've decided to make it all out of guitar parts and pieces. The only problem is, that I am at a loss on what to use for the double helix body. Any ideas? Maybe for the other things too?

Make it outta card or paper mache like a normal person. What your proposing seems far too complex for a school project

We're open to other ideas, we just thought this would be a neat idea, especially considering the Double Helix was the only problem we were facing now.

wouldnt that cost loads of money to get all the spare guitar parts you would need?

Sometimes you gotta get over the fact that you play guitar.

i did a similar project. For the second model i used gummy bears and toothpicks, making each color of gummy bear a different part.
