1. I have an Ampeg 4x10 bass cabinet with a horn, and a Gallien Krueger 1001RB amp. Since I have a Line 6 POD x3 Live with amp modeling, it actually sounds really nice. It's not as loud as normal guitar amps, but it's not as harsh either, it's warm and clean, and not directional.

2. Also have a Fender Princeton 65 solid state guitar amp with one 12" speaker. Extremely loud, but also harsh and kind of sounds nasal sometimes. I don't particularly enjoy the sound, but it's loud as hell. If I put it on "3", I can't stand to be in the room without earplugs.

So, what's everybody think?

That's exactly what I'm worried about. I really liked the sound of this bass cabinet for stage noise, and my POD had a DI output for the PA. Now my lead guitarist has decided that he's not going to mic up his amp, and instead he's borrowing a much bigger tube amp and not going through the PA at all. I'm afraid he's going to blow me out of the water. I just don't like this Fender.
