you can plug a cd player into it...

This.

Also, if you it has a CD in, it's probably not a great amp.

get a cord that goes from 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch and plug one end into the amp and the other end into the headphone jack of your iPod or whatever

and like the other person said... if it has a CD in, it's not a good amp most of the time
My Guitars:
Gibson Les Paul Studio
Epiphone AJ
Ibanez Strat Copy

Amps:
Orange Tiny Terror Head
Old beaten up Peavey cab
Marshall MG30DFX

that's all that matters then. It's all just preference anyway.

i just know that i hate my MG30DFX... i can't wait to get a nice tube amp

what the hell's the point of the cd in anyways? i know i always see it on crap amps at the store. are you supposed to play along with them or something? haha.

Mine was marked down to $500 which is not that cheap to me. But yeah it does seem kind of odd to have sound other than the guitar coming through the speakers. That wouldn't sound good

It just allows you to have the Cd player play through your amp and match the volume level of your instrument, or close to it.
