Hey guys. A while ago I made a thread on getting a Pod and asking everyone's opinion.

What happens is, I haven't got around to get the Pod yet, and I distanced myself from metal and got more into jazz during this period, so I'm not looking for much high gain sounds anymore. And then the Tonelab became an option. However, the Tonelab is a more vintage driven modeller, more capable of clean and low gain tones, while the Pod mostly satisfies in the high gain, but lacks in clean/low gain. From what I've heard, anyway. Well, although I'm not primarily interested in high gain anymore, I still want to adopt a modern tone, so I don't know how far the vintage-y Tonelab could serve me. Thoughts?

Besides, I'm interested in using whichever I get for recording. Which of these two does better in this aspect?

Cheers!
