Jazzmaster. Sure the bridge is shit, but thats part of the charm
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.

Have none of you heard the telecaster? They may look kind of average, but they sound amazing.

They also feel quite nice to play.

I love teles. But I prefer the "alternative" fenders.

The only real changes he made were switching out the bridge for a tune-o-matic and putting in a humbucker.

Strats, as cliché as it is, it does sound amazing.

Followed closely by the Jaguar, I really like them too.

I'm not too keen on Teles though.
Cam Sampbell's my hero

Highway One Strat with retro fitted vintage noiseless pickups because it is about the best value for money ther is for an American made guitar.
#19
HSS American Strat. Boundless in terms of tonal possibilities.
Or, HxH Strat. But there isn't a proper Fender one.

Alternatively, the new custom shop Black Strat.
Gilmour has one of the finest guitar tones in the world and if they're making an almost exact replica of his instrument, I'm biting.

Jazzmaster takes an easy first for feel, versatility, look, and sound. Best in every category.
Jaguar is next, like a less silky jazzmaster
Telecaster takes third for being simple but super classic, and not overdone.
Strats are the least desirable. Everyone has one, and it's hard to not make it sound samey because there's a strat on every record made in the past 40 years

You ignored the existence of the Mustang (It's crap, but it's COOL...)

The Strat is great looking, certainly. You'll appreciate that as you grow older :p

It's got huge versatility and has been used by everyone from Hank Marvin, to Buddy Guy, to Pete Townshend, and even Iron Maiden on occasion.

You can dislike it and call it mundane, but you CAN'T disrespect it. World's best selling guitar for a reason.
