Just tune your strings to the proper note?

if worst comes to worst and you cant figured out any other way of doing it, put a capo( or your finger)on the first fret and tune to standard. it should be really easy to tune with a chromatic tuner though, i can't understand what the problem would be.

one flat should give you a half step, i use that with my korgGA-30

Is it really the CA-30 or the GA-30? Because the GA-30 will have a button for adding flats to E standard. The CA-30 does not have this since it's chromatic. It will display flats and sharps automatically, just tune down and you'll see.
The gear is in the profile.
You know you want to take a look

Use the button closest to the bottom of the tuner.(think its called note select or something) Then pick the note you want to tune to.

Once I realized I had the exact same one it became obvious how easily I could figure this out.
