So, I'm going to get a killswitch. SPST Momentary. I've got all that planned out.
Thing is, the guitar I'll put the switch in is a Washburn, and it has the VCC control. The knob that controls the VCC is the one I was planning to remove to add the killswitch. So, could I switch the VCC tone pot and the normal pot, and would the VCC still work?

Thanks

how many pots does the guitar have? i'm guessing it's a wi65/66/67 pro?
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Four pots, two mast volume two tone. WI65. Sorry, I should have put that in the first post. :P

well, the easiest thing to do is turn the volume of the pickup you aren't using down to 0, and then you can use the pickup selector as a killswitch. if you don't want to do that, you should be able to move the vcc, but you're gonna have to do a bit of rewiring, and you'd probably have to convert the two volume controls to one...
