Ok so i'm gonna be doing this winter carnival thing at my school and my band is going to play Soothsayer by Buckethead. The problem is there's a 5 minute time limit. What I want to know is what parts i should cut out so it still sounds good.
It's not my imagination, I've got a gun on my back!

Best question first.

It's Buckethead.. Are you sure you can play it wihtout making an arse out of yourself (As in.. Playing it well)?

keep intro and like 1 or 2 verses & choruses and keep the awesome whammy pedal parts in the solo cos they're freaking awesome and then some improv. solo maybe?!?!?! Or do a better BH song...

Also BH thread.

Get rid of the first 30 seconds and start where the second guitar comes in. So start there then cut out at about 5:10-5:30, there is alot of places where you can resolve the chords and finish there.

It's a turd of an easy song

Just improvise the solo or something
