save up some more and get a better guitar.

From what i have heard here its NOT a good idea to skimp out on trem systems.

THe epiphone prophecy Futura has an Origina Floyd Rose, its like 650, and EMGs, or you could find a schecter with an OFR, or an ibanez S series which has a ZR trem which people here seem to like.

I really don't care about the kind of pick ups are in it.

You should care about the pickups. Especially if you play metal.

Out of those, neither of the ibanez. I would go with the jackson out of those choices.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

ebay an older ibanez rg550 with a legit floyd tremolo, throw in some dimarzios and youve got yourself a jem killer for under 500. trust me.

Used DK2M.

Agreed.

The RG350s aren't very good. I owned one and didn't like it. It was cool at first, but before long I realised it sounded average, the bridge was crap, and it just didn't play as nice as I originally thought it did.

Don't limit yourself to those guitars. Look around, and listen to other suggestions.

I'm selling one of those DXMGs. Its got a nice bridge, stays in tune extremely well, fast neck, exactly what you're looking for. And, with the left over money (im selling for 250) you can buy a new amp/pedals, whatever.
