ever since seeing matrix claws amazing trade in's on craigslist i decided to take a look around

i ordered a splawn superstock and its gonna be a huge(halfstack) so i dont want to carry that around with me all the time so i was just gonna use my fender. however my fenders drive is lackin and iuse pedals for my lead tone (which im still not too fond of) anyway would it be a good trade in for this amp

http://newjersey.craigslist.org/msg/854859390.html

the only reason i ask is because he is asking for a fender hrd which i have i play alot of classic rock and blues and the heaviest i'll need is metallica and rage against the machine type tones

would this be a good investment

07 Fender American Deluxe Strat
07 Fender Custom Telecaster
09 Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster
09 Fulltone OCD V.4
10 Ibanez WH-10 V.2
09 Splawn SuperStock
10 Jet City JCA-20
97 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe

Yeh the SICK! bit sounds a bit stupid.

I don't know how heavy it goes, but that seems like a great swap for a fender hrd.

For you, that amp seems much more valuable than an HRD. Consider, he's selling it for 650, you probably couldn't sell the hrd for more than 400.

If that's a straight trade, that's most definitely in your favor. The progressive linkage seems like it could be pretty cool on it.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

I don't know that particular amp, but really, it's a Mesa. That's one of the few companies where you know you're getting a good product. Plus you can get more money sellin it if you don't end up liking it.
