Okay so here's the deal, I'm most likely buying the ibanez xiphos currently I'm using my friends fender.. i use ALOT of drop tunings and many different gauges so i was just wondering, is it possible to have different gauge strings and tunings from standard - Drop A on the edge 3?

And also if it is possible PLEASE tell me how

thanks!!

it is possible, but if your going to be changing tunings a lot you might not want a double locking trem.

i will still have my other guitar soo i can keep this guitar alternating between 2 tunings like drop C and D standard (1 step down).

Ibanez released a 6 string fixed bridge Xiphos not too long ago, but you might not be abled to find it in the shops yet. Might be worth waiting for that.

2 tunings is still a lot to deal with, especially with a double locking vibrato.
Going between E standards and drop D is easier, with an investment into a EVH d-tuna
