I hate trying to cover up my cheese in school because the bimbo next to me dislikes the smell of pure love.

I'm bringing farts back!

Drummers don't use tabs.

We use our ears.

Or sheet music!

Why don't you just google drum tabs?
Josh Homme writes the greatest lyrics EVAR:
"I wish we could get away
Drink wine and screw"

"Nicotine, valium, vicodin, marijuana, ecstasy, and alcohol
C-C-C-C-Cocaine!"

"I wanna lick you too much"

Oh thank god, another drummer that can read sheet music.

No one around here seems to pick up on it, it's so easy.

http://www.freedrumlessons.com/ has some tabs which are good
Great site overall as well

I personally listen to a song to learn it, I cant follow notes on a paper to play a song...

Add me to the list for being able to read Sheet Music as well

Yeah, most of the times I do that. Only when I'm playing simpler stuff like guns n' roses, black label society, The commitments, ect. But, I've decided to start to read tab. It'll be easier to get jobs at music stores, plus its just nice to have a binder full of sheet music. Then again, you can learn the song closer to how it was actually played originally.

If I'm learning any Jazz stuff, I get a copy of sheet music from my music teacher. Usually he can get me sheet music for most songs I'd like to learn. Or I steal the sheet music from my friends and my Modern Drummer magazines.

Dunno about everyone else, but a drumming subforum would be nice. I'm sure there are plenty of guitarists that drum. I drum, I noticed a few drum threads lately...(I know this has been brought up before...)

It's been suggested for as long as I've been here and longer. It wont happen.

You could try PM'ing Frenchy and see his reply...

There are groups dedicated to it but the mods wont budge.

I think if I'm home sick tomorrow I'll do something progressive. Write a few convincing paragraph's to send to the mods. I'm sure it's been done before, but meh.

Anyone want to take this into further conversation? Pm? MSN?
