What would be your ultimate band unit?
you can have any number of people appointed to the band.
The only rule is that The members have to be alive.
This is my example:

Bono from U2 - lead vocal
Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin - lead guitar
Jack White from the White Stripes- vocal, rhythm guitar 2
Paul McCartney from the Beatles - vocal, bass
Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters - Drummer

They are all from different generations, I like it
#2
Tom Scholtz - Rhythm guitar/Piano
Neal Schon - Lead Guitar
Steve Perry - Vocals
Neil Peart - Drums
Bon Jovi - Vocals
Paul McCartney - Bass

Dunno who'd make my ideal drummer!

How dare you like the David Coverdale from the late 80s Whitesnake; the David Coverdale from the 78-82 Whitesnake has a hell of a lot better voice, not to mention the music is better. In my opinion, of course.

If you haven't heard that era Whitesnake before, listen to it, it's pure awesomeness.

Anyways, to the band!

David Coverdale (from the Deep Purple/early Whitesnake era) - Vocals
Ritchie Blackmore - Lead guitar
Michael Schenker - Other Lead Guitar
Phil Lynnot - Bass
Stewart Copeland - Drums

Or, for another band

Paul Rodgers - Vocals
Gary Moore - Guitar
Gerry Rafferty - Rhythm Guitar/Co Lead Vocals
Neil Murray - Bass
Ian Paice - Drums
Cam Sampbell's my hero
#38
Lead guitar - John Petrucci
Rhythm Guitar - Me
Drums - Mike Portnoy
Bass - Arif Mirabdolbaghi
