Okay first off, I know it's a crap bass no need to make remarks about it... However, I am trying to make the best of this situation and I would like to know what kind of strings I should get as replacement strings for the thing, I play mostly alternative and I have no price range. Now before I get closed down for not using the search bar, I did and I saw nothing as specific as my question and there is no universal answer to this question as far as I know. But please help me figure out what good replacement strings would be please...

get the brightest sounding strings possible to try to counteract the inherent muddiness. I'd recommend rotosounds (66's or 99's)

Man...I brought marshmallows

Well, you'll want some sort of short scale string I guess. Get some Rotos to try to get some kind of clarity. Or, get some nylon flatwounds and complete the process.
