Brazilian Mahogany one piece body. Flame maple top. Indian Rosewood neck and fretboard. Turquoise stone "Shark" inlays and side dots.

Wilkinson tremolo, Sperzel Machineheads, Stainless steel jumbo fretwire.

Ormsby Handwound humbuckers (maybe zebra coloured?): "Nunchucker Humbucker" for the bridge, and "Old School 5 +" for the neck. Coil tap, three way, volume and tone.

THIS GUITAR IS FOR SALE. Contact me for pricing. I will be taking names for this guitar, and it will be available for someone after the 22nd of this month. Rarely do I have guitars without owners before they are scheduled (or finished). This one wont be sold until AFTER the 22nd. Payment terms are ok.

----

One piece body. Brazilian Mahogany is illegal to import into Australia, so this stuff is damn expensive now. I still have a fair bit left

Perry Ormsby

Yup, i love rosewood. Pain to work with, but worth it in the end. Wait until you see the inlays

Mr Ormsby.

Looks to be another spectacular build.

Your vacuum press. What sort of materials do they require (Pump?), and why is it in there after clamping?

Can you "Gheto" a vacuum press?

Love that Rosewood. Why is it so hard to work?

I've never seen anyone vacuum press wood before. That's a nice idea.
Which headstock are you using? I'd like to see a DC with an SS headstock.
I'm interested in pricing. Could you send me a quote in American Dollars?
#18
Wow Perry, this is really gorgeous.

So, I suppose you bought up a lot of Brazillian Mahogany? It's crazy nice.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

Headstock will be the "Scoop", aka Shark Bite. Someone mentioned to me the end looks like a sharks mouth. I never noticed it until then. Ties in nicely with the shark inlays

^it would be a good time to buy from you if you live in the US or (whatever country uses EURO )

I think the dollar got down to like 66 US cent and 40 something Euro cents....
Poor us Australians

Yup, for those in the USA, my instruments are around 30-35% cheaper than they were only three months ago, because of the exchange rate. Problem is, the US is in a recession and less people can afford to buy luxury items...

i'd assume it's blue from the camera angle and that it's a light dusting of white paint so the inlay scribes stand out more.
