hi ive just recently aquired as in got given an old wem amplifier only thing is when i got it hme and went to plug it in i couldnt find a plug then i relised there was a weird looking socket in the back with 3 prongs in it ill get a picture up soon, anyway does anyone know about rewireing it to use with a normal plug or something like that or where i could get the right one from?

Sounds like you need a "Kettle lead"
Its standard on most amps really, a separate mains leads from amp to plug socket.

do you mean as in the one i would find on a kettle because the sockets round and so are the prongs and it doesnt look like a kettle plug sorry i know i sound dumb haha

Would that be able to fit in the socket on your amp?
