My friend wants to start learning guitar, but he needs an amp. He's a complete beginner aka never played before.

Here are some bands that he likes: AC/DC, Airbourne, Led Zepplin, Metallica, Dream Theater, Pantera. So crunchy old school overdrive tone to more modern gain stuff.

His budget: 75$ CAD, about 67$ US. No more than that.

He's gonna be using my Ibanez RG370DX.

I saw a used Peavey blazer 158 on cragslist for 50$. What do you guys think about that? Any other suggestions?

thanks

Yeah dude seriously, if hes a pure beginner just get whatever.

You give great ****ing advice. Don't you think that you would've been more motivated if you had a nice sounding amp to start off instead of a piece of crap?

I'll check for a micro cube, they seem nice!
