a guy i know is selling a peavey 5150 cab, but its loaded with celestions from a marshall 1960 lead cab and the marshall inputs.

he only wants $150. he said the cab was oversized so it made for a nice tone.

worth it?

I've heard some bad things about 5150 cabs. but if it has new speakers...

That's a fair price on a 5150 cab.

Peavey Cabs are built like a brick sh*t house but their speakers are mediocer, personally I think the cab is a least worth 200 dollars with the stock speakers if its in good shape. 150 dallars and celestion loaded, I would say its a very good deal, if you need a cab or if you think you will need one in the future I would jump on that.

Good deal, you could sell the speakers alone for more than that.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me
