So, I just heard I can get free guitar lessons from School now, awesome.
Started today, and he had a feel of my guitar, tuning it etc, he frowned and said-

Your strings are absaloutly knackered, no freshness at all.

I'd only had them on three weeks (D'Addario 10s).

So you think I should get these? I assume they'll last longer.

seriously though i've never tried titanium strings but if you wanna give them a try sure go for it. its not like strings cost that much.

since when does his opinion on your strings matter?

change them when you think they're old

although d'addarios aren't renowned for lasting forever
Get off this damn forum and play your damn guitar.

Tell him to fukk off. It's your strings. If you wan't longer lasting ones though, purchase Elixirs. I have never tried those titanium Ernie's so I have no idea how long they last.

These strings are killer, just bought a two weeks ago and they still sound brand new. I like them better than elixir because they arent slippery with that silicone or whatever that is.

IMO Elixirs don't sound good until that stupid coating wears off,i think i paid way to much for them
