NIB- black sabbath(!!!!!)

neither of those are my favorite bass work altogether, but they both have classic riffs

I have trained a live tarantula to calm and sit on my guitar due to the awesome powers of my rocking. When I am not playing it angrily bounces about my room hitting everything that isn't me.

Around the World - RHCP. If you want me to stay - Sly & the Family Stone. Tommy the Cat - Primus. Ramble on - Led Zeppelin. With a little help from my friends - the Beatles. White room - Cream.

these are the first things that come to mind other than insane bebop basslines.

To say of what is that it is not, or of what is not that it is, is false, while to say of what is that it is, and of what is not that it is not, is true.

It means that he thinks the thread should end there because the answer was exactly right. I have to agree for most of the songs for that list, it was great.

How has this not popped up yet?

Also, Dawn Patrol--Medadeth
Nope, no sig here.

Favourite guitar riff? Sounds singular to me.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Jump Into The Fire by Harry Nilsson. If you've seen Goodfellas, you know it. Forget Jamerson - Herbie Flowers is the most underappreciated session musician of all time. Jamerson has a legion of people saying he's underappreciated - Herbie has just me!

A have a tonne of favourites, but the one that immediately comes to mind right now is Nick Lowe's minor reggae line to "Watching the Detectives".

We were playing that last week in the studio when a guitar teacher was showing a student how to play reggae rhythm guitar. I had forgotten how fun and distinctive that line is.

Anything by Rancid really. Especially their version of The Brews, that has some EPIC bass
