Here are the lyrics:

someday we will look at this and laugh
and we will always be here; living in fear
we've got many miles to run,
songs that need be sung
and though we may be done,
there's still a shining sun

you will see; what's left of me,
oh oh

take a number,
step in line,
take a number,
step in line,
do as you're told

someday we will look at this and laugh
and we will always be here; living in fear
so much left to see and do,
seems our time on earth is through,
and don't forget that it is you
everything i say is true,

you will see; what's left of me,
oh oh

take a number,
step in line,
take a number,
step in line,
do as you're told

it's very rough at the moment, but hey
comments? critiscism please i'll crit for crit

sweet song dude

i'm sensing a pink floyd influence, yes?

definitely with the sax and acoustic, it's just great

i loved the vocal line too dude

it felt like i was floating on the vocals lol (baked)

Pretty good stuff, I have to say I see some Pink Floyd influences as well, only thing that bothered me though was you seem to be overusing melisma (multiple notes to one syllable) , but it probably only seems like that because I was listening to it in MIDI.
