I work for a party comany and our next event is based on electricity. We've got the soundtrack (minus DJs, of course) mainly sorted, but we want a good, carrying metal song to put on somewhere near the end, preferably not overly heavy/growly so people still have a chance of doing some form of dancing to it.

I've got a few ideas, of course, but I lost most of my Metal when my mp3 player died a few months ago

Song suggestions?

(Cum =/= electricity.)

goddamn electric?
Uncle Vernon, Uncle Vernon,

My main ideas were that and Electric Eye by Priest. Neither of them seem entirely fitting though. The main guy wants nu-metal (something Coal Chamber style) but I think something proper would be more fitting .

Electric Wizard?

Also check the rec thread, there's some black metal band that sings about electricity and what not

Thunderstruck!

I believe it was Angus's plane getting hit by lightning. Or something like that.

That is a weird topic....

This is not the place to ask that, but to save you time, go to the forums and find the Control Panel option.

Well Ace Frehley did a song ("Shock Me") about getting electrocuted on stage. Other than that, all the ones I can think of have already been mentioned.

Doesn't Borknagar have a song called "Sealed Chamber of Electricity"?

Thats EXACTLY what I was going to say. It's actually about elecrticity so obviously a good choice.

Yeah but not many people actually know that. I think its a shame that most people only think of Diamond Head as "That band that wrote "Am I Evil??"".

Hate to sound like a wanker, but it doesn't take too much difficulty to work out that a song that was released on a covers album is in fact a cover.
