In light of the new bond film I was wondering who everybody thinks is the best James Bond?

Roger Moore is definitely the best Bond of them all. Me and my dad and my friend who have seen all the Bonds agree on this.

Connery for me, but Craig was fantastic in Casino Royale. Pumped for Quantum of Solace.

I was actually thinking about making a thread like this the other day.

I have to say Connery was the sh!t.

Im sure somebody later on in this thread will edit that to read Connery was sh!t, but oh well.

Roger Moore is a very close second, with Craig third. They do a good job picking the actors though, ive never watched a bond movie with a bond that I couldnt stand at all.

Nothing is entirely ionic, there's always covelant character.

I have to say Pierce Brosnan just because i grew up on those films. The new Bond is horrible. Keeps getting his ass kicked in the film. James Bond does not bleed! Tis an iron man.
#15
Roger Moore by far.
In my opinion Pierce Brosnan sucks as Bond. I also think that the guy who played in only one bond was really cool (not as cool as Roger though). The one with the longer dark hair. I dont know his name though.

EvilEdit: Timothy Dalton's the name

I like Daniel Craig. Brosnan is almost pure fail when you think about it.
And of the older films, Connery.

Connery. It's much more fun to do impressions of him, for one thing. Plush, itsh pretty eashy too.

But any ways I'd say timmothy Dolten for me (I think spelled his name wrong) With Criage in second.

My list:

1. Connery
2. Brosnan (he only loses the top spot by a hair)
3. Moore
4. Dalton

I've never saw the Lazenby film, and I haven't saw (either) Casino Royale, so I can't pass judgement on Craig, either.

Connery, IMO, is THE quintessential Bond. He was a proper gentleman who was smarter, tougher, and more cunning than 99% of all other men in the world, just like Bond is supposed to be.

Brosnan was the person who came closest to achieving that after Connery. Moore was good, as well, but too much of a pretty boy.

I just didn't like Dalton all that much at all.

You have to same connery cause he started it all, but for me Brosnan is the Bond I grew up with and his Bond movies are my favorite of the series.
#25
Just for a fun fact Sean Connery still has the most successful Bond film to date. (Thunderball)

At the moment, Daniel Craig. Probably too early to tell, but I'm going on looks too. :P Pierce Brosnan, although good in his time, I am glad they moved on from. They all had there plus sides, but so far I'm liking what Craig is doing. I used to hate Timothy Dalton, until the I saw the cello sky-slope thing, that was so ridiculous as to be awesome.
#30
yeah, i think Daniel Craig is pretty badass. So what if he's blond, blue eyed, and doesnt smoke? He can still do more than just pull off the character. As for old school, Connery all the way.

At school, the way to tell if your chemistry teacher is lieing is quite simple:
if he's teaching chemistry, he's lieing. Most of the curriculum for chemistry at school has been known to be untrue for at least 50 years, but has the advantage of being easier to understand that what's actually going on.

Aye. The first thing we were told when we started A Level Chemistry was "The Chemistry is a lie"

A Bond should have charm. My male idol is always been Pierce Brosnan as Bond.
Daniel Craig has nothing on Pierce. His face is like some dock worker's. Sean Connery was great, too.

Pierce Brosnan is probably my favorite of the bonds, mainly because I first got into Bond at the time of Goldeneye which served as a brilliant game too

I don't think he's "the best Bond" but he's definitely my favorite one

The problem with Pierce Brosnan is that except for Goldeneye all the storylines for the Bond films he was in were freakin shit in the extreme.
