Depends entirely on what you want to play and how much money you have to spend.

This exactly.

We need to know this:

What amp do you have?
What music do you play?
What is your budget?

Then we will recommend you the perfect set of pickups.

(Also, if you like the look of single coils, but you want the sound of humbuckers, look into some SD cool rails or hot rails, or any stacked pickup.)

alder body(i hope)
style: hard rock(zeppelin, aerosmith, GNR) and some modern spacy/floyd stuff
marshall and raven amps
pretty much any price range as long as it gets the job done

look into bareknuckle pickups. maybe try to send a pm to CorduroyEW, a fellow UGer who makes pickups.

raven is solid state...marshall, if its MG its ss, if not its tube.

so....dont waste money on ridiculously expensive pups, especially if that marshall's an MG. and no EMGs.

id say....duncan JB/jazz. not too expensive and they are good sounding.
