i have written aa chord progression but i dont know what scale it is in so i cant do a solo yet.

the chords are: E minor-G5-D-A-Dsus4-Asus4

salil91 is right, it's D major because the A chord has the C#, whereas it would be E minor if the A were an A minor chord.

o yea good catch, but when you play the chords it has more of a minor feel, and i thought the A was supposed to be a 5th, so if you're going to solo in either one, i think e minor sounds a little better than d major
