Recently, I've been looking more into theory, and started to learn about song keys. I'm currently writing a song, and would like to start working on the solo, however I dont know what key I am. Could someone help me as to the quickest and/or easiest way to finding the key?

The chord progression goes:

D5 Dm Dsus2 A#7M

Some old lady asked me if my electric guitar was a bass. It clearly has Six strings.

If you are looking at the sheet music, near the cleft there is a number of sharp or flat signs that determine the key. If you are not, it is usually the root note of the most prominent chord, which would be D minor most likely.
