I'm trying to install Americas Army on my laptop but I don't have enough memory, I have only like 6.23 gigs on my C drive, and I've deleted alot of stuff off my computer, everything adobe (reader, photoshop, etC), media player, firefox and safari, lame mp3 codec, I don't know what else to delete without ****ing up my computer

anything I can delete without messing up my pc?

I do have 10 gigs of music on here, maybe I should delete some?

If your music is at a high bit rate, try and compress it down to 192 or 128.

if you haven't done it already, you can remove a lot of the programs and/or games that come on your computer to begin with through the Add or Remove Programs option in the Control Panel.

Are you asking if midgets can draw people that are themselves smaller than the average person, or if midget drawings in general are smaller?

Removing temporary files and things like that would help alot. If you don't have it getting CCleaner will clear shitloads.
#9
Even if you have enough space to install it you'll need a gig or so spare for temp files.

It will run slow as hell too, especially if it just fits.

Check that the recycle bin is empty because although being in recycle bin its still takes up storage. Might be a bit of a daft response but wont hurt to try

Burn the music onto CDs/DVDs as mp3(or whatever format) files.

That.

defragment the hardrive.

Re download firefox, and get rid of IE

Do you have an ipod/mp3 player? if so , put all the music on that, and then delete it from your computer. You can still play it if you connect the mp3 player, and there are loads of ripper programs that allow you to take the music back off the player.

Also. how damn big is americas army thing? is it a game?

+1 to the music ideas. Put it all on blank discs or compress it at least.

Get some programs that delete unused shit on the computer.
CCleaner, Auslogics Disk DeFrag and Registry DeFrag. It's a lot simpler than it sounds. lol

depends on the laptop, new ones are good. But judging on the size of TS hardrive... doesnt sound up to much.

Perhaps buy an external drive? You can pick up pretty cheap ones these days....
