could this damage either 1 of them if i play my tube guitar combo amp through my bass cab?

i don't think it would damage either

I wouldn't do it. The ohms likely won't match and you'll blow the transformer in your amp, resulting in a 60 pound paper weight.

Only if you're an idiot.

I use my GH50L through a bass cab and they both still work absolutely fine, you just have to match the ohms and make sure the cab is rated to handle the power. Which it almost certainly is, bass cabs are generally rated much higher than guitar cabs.

well, my amp has adjustable ohms its always on 8. my cab has a power rating of 8 ohms too, so it should work then?
