I just purchased a new amp, and have a simple question: is it okay to leave an amp sitting on carpet? Right now, I have it on some thin piece of finished wood, on the ground. Is this okay, or should I prop it up on something? Any advice would be great. Thanks guys!

It's fine on carpet.
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.
Carpet is fine. The only reason to NOT set something on carpet is if it needs the air intake/fans to breath (certain electronics and game systems and such). Amps have no such issue.

That'll make you look mad.
