Hey UG,
is there a amp out there that has great cleans and a pretty good overdrive so when i boost it i can get high gain.
i play fusion so i would need like fenderish cleans
i also play shred.
my budget is 500. i can be a combo, and it can also be a head (i have a 2x12 cab)
thanks

fender hot rod.

Only with a reeeeaaaalllly good pedal. I like the overdrive but it definitely can't pull off shred. Cleans are amazing though.

My Classic 50 can get enough gain for it with a pedal, can't say whether or not the voicing is perfectly suited but you can definitely pull it off.

Definitely enough gain for hard rock and even metal. But the voicing of the amp may not suit you, so try it out. But other than that, I think it will do perfect.

I have a Mesa F-30 and I'm in love. Great cleans, and great dirty channels. Has a contour setting so it can slap on some craaazy high gain. I got mine for a little under $600 on ebay, you should check it out.

Used peavey valveking (got mine for 250 practically brand new) with a Man O war speaker swap (89 bucks).

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
