GOOOOODDDD HELP US!!!

Yeah, its me again.

What would you compare a 30W 2x12 to in terms of volume?

Also if its not loud enough, I can run it to the mixer/PA, right?

Or would that not be loud enough? Would that mess with my tone or not?

When I tried out tubes, 15W seemed to do it, volume-wise.

What wattage SS would that be equal to (roughly, ballpark) ?

In other words:

15W tube is equal to ?W SS?

Also if I want a tube amp is the Peavey Windsor Studio (20W) good enough quality?

A 30 watt tube 2x12 will go head to head with a 100 watt solid state 2x12, no problem. I can't speak for anything higher, but it will certainly keep up with a 100.

30w 2x12 is plenty for gigs, and if you really need to you can mic it.

Kustom doesnt make a 15 or 20W tube amp do they?

I really like Kustom cleans, but cant afford tube.

Would this 30W 2x12 SS be the same volume as a 15 or 20W tube amp?

He's asking what a 30w SS would compare to in tube terms

i would say a 5 watt..

keep in mind tubes are different

i would say 5 watt = ~30watt SS or so..

However, 100watt SS would be like 25-30 watts tube

Does Kustom make a 15 or 20W tube?

What would that be in SS? ~65 or 70?
